               Three more weeks… three more weeks… my new life begins in just three more weeks. The first week of march I will be moving to Seoul, South Korea to teach English as a second language, or ESL. I might stay there for a couple of years to build some savings but after that I am branching out to see the rest of the world.

                This blog is where I will document my adventures so that you may learn from my mistakes and gain insights that hopefully inspire you to see some of the world as well. This blog may seem like an eclectic collection of topics to some but that is only because I have eclectic interests.  It will be part expat blog, travel tips, investments which enable more traveling, stories from my travels, storys and tips from teaching ESL, documentation of my attempt to follow the 5 flags theory, stories about my search for gigs as a guitar player around the world, helping hand for people starting the search for jobs teaching abroad, and whatever else I feel like.

                I am about to be what is known as a permanent traveler, or PT. I am starting this endeavor with very little money in the bank but through working a couple years as an ESL teacher, some ingenuity, and some shrewd investments we will see if I can live the rest of my life as a permanent tourist.

                I will help anyone as much as I can that is trying to either teach ESL, follow the 5 flags theory, acclimate to any country I am familiar with, or visa processes. Feel free to ask me anything or correct me if I inaccurately portray a situation.
